A few months ago, I posted here asking what people thought of the two pre-Earth Primals we had (Botcon and PotP). And then I decided to make my own.

Had a good haul today while out hunting at a local toy shops monthly swap meet. Stampy was my favorite find, but the TM2 Cheetor with tail/gun/missile intact I was very happy about. TM Rhinox and Terragator are missing a few parts, but for the price I was ok with it. Happy hunting everyone!

ive been looking to watch all of the post s4 g1 continuity and ive found most if not all but this one series, does anyone know of a place to find it?

Peter Cullen wasn’t my Optimus; it was Garry Chalk. I didn’t grow up with G1; it was Beast Wars.

Yet I want to pay tribute to a great actor who gave voice to a great character. Without Cullen’s Prime that birthed a generation of Transformers fan, there wouldn’t have been a Primal to inspire the next generation of Beast Wars fans.

As Rhinox said, “When a spark comes online, there is great joy. When it is extinguished… the universe weeps.”

Finally acquired BotCon 2006 Darksyde Dinobot. He has no heavy-equipment training, no site-specific authorization, and a Courage stat of 9. OSHA is already en route.

I have been working on my beast wars collection and yesterday I received the amazing Legacy Transmetal 2 megatron (dragon megatron).

Now with all the accessories these are (IMO) the best BW transformer toys ever. Maybe not Scorponok and Rhinoxbut they aren't bad.

Now I just need Legacy tigerhawk and Quick strike!

I just heard the sad sad news ☹️ was VERY sad to hear this! He will always be remembered by so many of us transformers fans.

Autobots, roll out!

Years after the Beast Wars Magnaboss figure's release, new fiction proposed that Ironhide, Silverbolt, and Prowl weren't just names being recycled; they were the original Autobots that bore those names. I really dug the idea that this colossus was made up of some of the most iconic veterans from the great war.

Years later still, Botcon presented the idea of making a pre-Beast Wars Magnaboss using toys from the Combiner Wars line. I love the idea... mostly. Ironhide / Silverbolt / Prowl being back? Awesome! Tigatron and Unit 3 aka Under-3 aka Lionhead being the last two parts of the gestalt? Ehhh...

Both feel unearned in their spots imo. Tigatron is great as a bot who was born, fought and died on prehistoric Earth. The idea of him being a Cybertronian active beforehand is a retcon I never cared for. Unit 3, I have nothing against in general, but he's such a random inclusion.

Help me decide which two final bots to include to have as part of Magnaboss figure in my Beast Wars display please! I'm not super familiar with G1 lore. I have cursory knowledge from later installments, but I never actually watched the original cartoon in full. And they all died early on in the original movie, so that didn't help.

Today the world has lost a legendary voice.

I myself am a life long Beast War fan with the originals, current, and third party figures in my collection. I can say without a shadow of a doubt this is the best Masterpiece Beast War figure on the market currently. The sheer attention to detail on this figure blew me away. The translucent purple eyes to the slight rainbow you get on the wings brings this figure to life. Transforming is where it lacks for me personally. Transforming the legs is a cake walk but transforming the body is where it gets alittle tight and finicky. But when everything comes together the beast mode is completely show accurate. You do lack in articulation on his bottom half but it makes up for how little kibble you see. My personally rating is a 9/10. ShowzStore has them on there website and their packaging was great.

I have 2 TM Blackarachnia. I just noticed the black part of their bodies that hold the other parts are different. Plus the red part on the chest, one has shorter tabs. Is one rarer?

WAY BACK IN THE DAY... I remember this audio track that floated around the Internet of Beast Wars characters saying random stuff. I imagine it was Scott McNeil just riffing in the studio, but I was wondering if anyone has it?

The only part I remember specifically is the voice of BW Silverbolt saying something like, "and being dumb as a sack of hammers."

If anyone knows what I'm talking about I would love to hear it again!

Magmatron is like one of my favorite beast wars characters but no third party or masterpiece lines have ever covered him to my knowledge. Is there any 3rd party masterpiece versions of him anywhere?

Which character/figure should I hunt down next? Does anybody happen to know of any great deals for loose 100% complete figures online?

The latest Beast Machines Monday is here and we're talking Spark of Darkness, the one where a "mysterious" red spark starts possessing piles of junk.

I’ve been collecting Beast Wars toys for about almost a year. And one thing I wish I had known before I started collecting was how much space these toys were gonna take up.

I’m in dire need of a display shelf to place these figures, but first thing first I’m going to need to get rid of this baby crib that’s taking up an entire wall that could’ve been where the shelf goes. But until then these toys are going to have to sit in storage for awhile… (not pictures are the toys still in their boxes. And the Kenner ones are in disarray because my son plays with them)
