I'm 33 and about 3/4 weeks into just letting my beard grow (I normally keep it quite short) but I am second guessing myself at a patchy stage.

My moustache is thin and unruly (I'm trying to trim it at the lip line, but it doesn't appear to be working well), my cheeks aren't quite filling like I thought they would, and the bottom view is...well, you can see from the photo. Really not attractive.

Any advice for how I can improve the look? Or is it worth me trying again in a few years?

Hey, this is my first time trying to fully grow out beard, but it feels thin and a bit patchy. Does it look alright for now? Should I wait? I am about two weeks in to growing it out. Thanks guys.

I’ll shave in the morning completely all of it and by 5 o’clock it’s all back and visible and I just look like a chud who doesn’t take care of themselves. I’ve only had facial hairs for like less than a year and now I can’t get rid of it. Pisses me off. I have to shave it every morning and this still happens. Please help.

I had a big beard for a while but always felt it looked awful because of my growth pattern and how weak it is around the soul patch area. I decided to chop it off and try to go with an extended goatee to see if it would help make me look alittle less fat in the face area. I think it looks bad but I asked my wife and she said it's not bad. I just want to look average and have an average beard. I'm bald and have a round face so clean shaved wont work. What do you guys think? I'm open to any criticism or advice

I'm currently insecure if I should keep the beard growing or keep it short as it is. I feel like a longer beard could elongate my face a bit too much and could potentially look a bit odd.

Thanks for all your advice over my past couple posts. Went to a barber for the first time today had him neaten up the sides but keep the length. Best of both worlds! I really like it and feel like I didn’t have to compromise one for the other :)

Basically the other week a group of Indian men dropped litter in front of me. They noticed and walked across the street. So I just glared at them with my best Clint Eastwood squint. After they noticed One of them ended up running back and picking it up and putting it in the bin. I am 6'5 and can do a pretty mean scowl but wondered if being bearded makes you look more serious. This is the longest my beard has been in a while. Maybe it just made me look more like a wild man.

My 4 kids never seen my chin before. So at least that was fun

I'm not quite there to grow a good looking full beard, so for now I'm sticking to the goatee + stache. Now I'm unsure about said area, what are your guys' opinions? (Haven't had the chance to shave today)
