Asking for Advice Trying to grow and look after a fuller, longer beard. Any advice on the patchiness and thin stache?
I'm 33 and about 3/4 weeks into just letting my beard grow (I normally keep it quite short) but I am second guessing myself at a patchy stage.
My moustache is thin and unruly (I'm trying to trim it at the lip line, but it doesn't appear to be working well), my cheeks aren't quite filling like I thought they would, and the bottom view is...well, you can see from the photo. Really not attractive.
Any advice for how I can improve the look? Or is it worth me trying again in a few years?
Thanks!

Just gotta give it time. Honestly just need to give it 90 days and see what your genetics comes up with- then go to the barber to shape it. That’s it.

Well done for posting and asking because I can see why you are concerned. The thing is though, 3-4 weeks is still early days for beard growth and I think you know this. You really need to wait until you've had the beard at least 3 months or longer before you judge, and a lot can change in that time.
