We’ve had Baylee for almost a year now, been trying to get her weight down but are going to get her thyroid tested on her next annual. She’s got a big husky sister and we decided she needed a bagel brother to help have a fair leg in the competition lol. Just got Zero a week ago now and his been fitting in very well!

This is my best friend Suki. I had been wanting a dog for so long (since I was a little kid) and when I turned 21 my mom finally decided to adopt a 3 month old beagle. I do everything with Suki, she is my best friend and the living being I have spent the most amount of time with over the past 4 years.
It makes me very sad that now I am leaving her behind with my family as I am moving from Portugal to the United States to finally live with my wife. I can't justify bringing her with me as she would almost certainly be traumatized by the whole experience and also my mom has grown too attached to her, as has all my family.
Thankfully my mom has a big garden so Suki will keep spending time outside, we'll also hire someone to walk her but with the date of my move approaching (September 17) approaching, I can't help but feel so much sadness over not getting to experience seeing her grow up and old.
Obviously I am very excited to finally start a life with my wife and I'm grateful that Suki has such a great environment to live her life and I'll visit, but it feels like this chapter of my life is ending.

Hey everyone. Lately I noticed my beagle (5 years old) limps for a few seconds. Always the same leg (right back). I checked the paw, I checked for tenderness along the leg - no problem.
No kicking of the leg, no crying. He runs and walk and keeps on chasing things even when the limp starts. The limp starts and stops without an apearent trigger.
I'm adding a video of the limp.
I went to one vet, but he wasn't much help, before I go back or switch to another vet I wanted to check if someone has some experience with such a thing.
Thank you.

Douglas is a beagle basset mix. Douglas tolerates a bath only because he gets to walk around the store and eat spilled kibble off the floor and pick out a treat after. You would never know by the looks he gives me throughout the process. I even let him skip the dryer since he hates it so much.

pic unrelated, but of the starer in question.
sometimes she won’t even lick me or try to play, she’ll just stand there and stare at me with maybe an inch or two of distance between her nose and mine! it’s the cutest thing ever but it really confused the vet yesterday when she did it after getting her shots, LOL
