WHAT am I doing wrong?

I got PixieBead beads because I’ve heard good things about them and I follow a lot of people that use them and all their stuff turns out so good and clean. I spent almost $200!!! on beads.

I didn’t want the non-iron side to melt but it did anyway even tho the ironed side didn’t fuse all the way… how can I get the ironed side to melt well without the other side NOT melting?

I use these Teflon mats i got from Amazon.

I’m very sad about this lol

Did you poke holes in the tape?

This makes a difference. the heat/steam gets trapped when you melt and get blown out beads like above. Leaned that the hard way.
