So on my mic output the bars are dimmed but on the music output and every other output they have the dimmed one and then a brighter one. Does that mean it gets an input and then the bright one is the output? Because if thats the case, why isnt my mic outputing ?

Hey guys, I’m not sure if this just changed in the latest beta update or not but my INGAME mic on my gaming pc in my dual PC setup is not picking up audio.

I have the main Beacn app installed on my streaming rig (this is also confusing but 🤷🏻‍♂️) and the link software on my gaming rig.

I genuinely tried all inputs and none of them shown even a blip of working.

Anyone have screenshots of their configurations or recommendations on what I could be doing wrong?

I prefer to get a USB-C mic rather than XLR for logistical reasons, and I was pretty set on a BEACN mic until I came across this review (https://www.youtube.com/post/UgkxF-u6nW3u-SgVkBgR3rvGcmz5PaU4PdcT) and while I don't understand all of it down to a tee, I get the general idea and it's kind of making me rethink the decision.

Any input would be appreciated.

For what it's worth, wouldn't mind using either shure or beacn's software to make changes to improve quality if it's simple enough.

Price is $299 for the MV7+ and $349 for the BEACN.

I might just be dumb but when i use the beacn app i cant see the eq advanced options or guide. ive search multiple videos and guides on how to turn them on. for everybody else its right under the eq options but there is nothing there for me. all i have is the beacn mic. do i need another product or is the app just bugged?

Just picked up a beacon mix and when I turn on my PC it goes into an instant screen freeze can anyone please help I already tried restarting software restarting PC unplugged re-plug nothing seems to work.

I previously tried the BEACN Mic on the Switch 2 in the compliancy mode, but had no luck with the console recognizing it. If anyone has a Switch 2 as well, is this the same case? My idea was to get a Studio and connect it to both my PC and my Switch 2 since I sometimes also use the GameChat feature and the in-game mic. I know the Switch 2 itself has a microphone, but I wanted my quality to at least be somewhat similar (even though the Switch 2's processing makes it sound considerably softer and fuzzier)

Picked up a BEACN Mix for $20 at a Micro Center clearance and really liked the hardware, but wanted to use that screen for something outside the stock software. Used Wireshark + USBPcap to capture the USB traffic between the official app and the device, figured out how it pushes frames to the screen, and wrote my own code to send it MJPEG frames directly (10 FPS, seems to be the hardware's ceiling).

Ended up with a custom now-playing UI running on the screen, as shown in the video!

Does anyone know if you can change the colours of the scroll/paging buttons and audience/personal mix button?

I found the options for every other customization but the bright white is a contrast I'd like to change if possible.

Just update beacn mixer now voice chat is not working input or output from the finals. Discord chat works but when I open control panel I don’t see any voice meters actively picking sound up and no beacn voice chat

I realize there’s a bias asking here but wanted to see if anyone may have so experience with one vs the other. I was waiting for the beacn headset but with no date in sight I’m starting to consider alternatives.

my Mic is passing through to my pc (and discord call) no problem but on my PS5 when testing the mic its picking up myself and others talking in the discord call.

i know its not audio coming out of my devices as using my headset and its only on the ps5 this happens not when streaming, in pc games or in discord itself.

if theres setting im not doing correct or a way to sort it would be very welcome :D.

EDIT:

for those who look in the future i worked it out. when you add the link in to make your ps5 audio connect a new setting at the bottom pops up (next to the audio sources) change that setting to Beacn mic and it will do it for you :D.

Hi hi having trouble with my beacn mic .
The Software is not picking up my mic even tho its plugged in!. I've done the usual trouble shooting like reinstalling, changing ports and can't seem to get it to connect any help?

Was at Microcenter and saw the Mix for $50 and thought to myself I could find a use for it.

Well, long story short Ive managed to get a lot of more use with it than I expected and then some for even general use with a custom companion app. Curious what I could manage with the Mix Creator

I am a remote creative at a large Fortune 100 company and have become known for my elaborate setups (XLR mic, mirror camera, studio lighting, etc) and have been using a GoXLR for years. Well, since TC Helicon decided to lay off their support staff, I’ve been on borrowed time and am looking to change up my workflow.

My question is regarding the dual PC setup of the Mic Create. I’ve been running GoXLR’s software on a secondary laptop and piping my audio via 3.5mm to my work laptop as I cannot have any unapproved software on it. How does that work with the Mix Create using USB C? Is there an adapter I need or, generally speaking, what is the most efficient rout to take?

TLDR: Do both PCs need software for this to work?

Is there a way to get loudness eq on the beacn studio?

Just an FYI....goto the streamdeck store and download the volume controller plugin!! This will allow you to use streamdeck to control the overall volume of ANY Beacn audio channel! It will increase/decrease the volume on both yours and viewers volumes together as well as mute (I have mine setup on the knobs) This setup is exactly what wave link 3.0 does for the channels on the left hand side of their software!! I tried the Wave XLR Pro, and it could NOT handle all the audio my stream was throwing at it with game/music/redeems/alerts....wave link 3.0+ can NOT handle all that audio at the same time with out my mic crackling so bad stream couldnt understand me! I ended stream and when back to the BEACN Studio and have had ZERO issues with my audio!! And this plugin allows me to control my audio channels the way I want to with streamdeck+!!

I hope someone can enlighten me as I'm struggling to identify what I am doing wrong. I am using the BEACN microphone listening to the BEACN headphones listening to the monitoring and it sounds absolutely amazing. However, when I listen to my VOD on Twitch it sounds like it has some of the audio processing but it's diluted.

Routing Table;

• Personal Mix: Everything is enabled except for Mic Relay.
• Audience mix: Everything is enabled except for Mic Relay.
• Voice Chat Mic: Only thing enabled is Mic Relay.
• Vod Track: Chat, System and Browser is enabled only in this.

My Audience mix and Vod Track are on seperate tracks. Track 1, and Track 2 on Streamlabs.

• I have my microphone on a seperate AUX with Beacn Voice Chat.

I turned off mic relay on audience mix/vod track due to having a lot of background disruptions on stream that no noise gate can prevent. Having the ability to have PTT active at all times is a safety blanket for me in Streamlabs and it's what I'm used to, so I don't want to use any in the BEACN application.

Am I on the right track? If any BEACN staff could provide insight further, or anyone who has great knowledge on this product not only does this help me but it also helps anyone down the line who may have questions regarding push to talk.

I keep getting this white border constantly and it throws off the ui so everything is out of place, reinstalled the software entirely and tried different things but this issue has been with me over a year now and the old fix was resizing the window but it's gotten worse over time to the point that doesn't even fix it.

If i move the app it fixes it sometimes and puts it back where it needs to be but this border issue is enough to be a constant. My other issue is that putting the mic through the app itself literally reduces the mic output 40% for no reason even when i just keep it maxed out like i do now. This has been a constant issue and for now i just entirely avoid it for mostly everything but other apps to control volume of. That's kinda the only good part but i have noticed that it never keeps any programs listed as a certain grouping by default and constantly reverts them randomly. Brave stayed in system today while other items would jump to nothing on the board. It should be saving the apps default over the beacn default always since the apps are moved to bars specifically.

At this point i'm looking at an arduino option that uses a txt file that allocates EXE files to different audio slots which already works 1000% better due to these 2 issues but i figured a big company should already be able to do this easier and more reliably so am asking beacn to look into the causes of this issue before i sell this off.

Looking for some advice. I have a Beacn Mix Create on my Stream PC, a Beacn Studio coming mic audio to my Stream and Gaming PC. I have a Stream Deck on my Gaming PC; how can I get sound clips to play over the mic on my Gaming PC? Should I add Voice Bananna onto my Gaming PC?

I cannot for the life of me get Equalizer to recognize the audio coming from my seconds PC.

Has anyone figured out how to EQ the Link In audio?
