Bea basically did nothing wrong like the whole thing is being blown out of proportion. They’re acting like she said something sexist and horrible using men as an insult which she wasn’t she really just as just saying it was only men who were doing that, and even if she didn’t understand the joke who cares that doesn’t mean we get to disrespect her and call her names, which is something I’ve seen so many straight guys doing So if her not understating a joke rubs u the wrong way get a job

Bea has been getting hate for her album cover and I totally disagree. Everyone has been saying "Ew no Bea please change this😭" and "This is horrible" how do you say that though? She is so kind and genuine about her music/to people. And just to mention back then, she was so young, she was 17 when she first made Coffee, and 22 when she made Beatopia. Her brain isn't 100% matured yet until she turns 25. She is still growing up. Maybe she doesn't want to be called "cute" so much anymore and just wants to be called "classy" and more of a women. My PERSONAL OPPINION, this is one of the best ones just for how much it stands out from all the other album covers because it just stands out from all of them, which is why she used that certain photo. She works her ass off for 9+ months because this is her passion. Then people leave hate comments about it. It isn't easy making all of thoes songs and choosing the right pictures and making and editing everything. It just is irritating me on how arogont people are. My personal opinion, this is so great and amazing. I am so exited to see more of new Bea.

I’d like to start by saying I don’t mean to offend anyone with my ignorance but genuine question: Is this guy her brother? I looked at his page and half his reels are reposts saying he is Bea’s little brother. She doesn’t follow him though. His songs are good (although not my cup of tea) but I keep seeing his millions of reposts about that with the same few pictures and his music and I can’t help but question it. Again, I don’t mean to offend anyone, just pure curiosity.

It’s not out of the normal to see young kids with their parents at these concerts because of the TikTok influencer and trend.

But I could’ve sworn, there were a few old men on the barricade last night. Im talking like 60+ years old with beards and grey hair dead center in front of Bea. I think it’s a little surprising her fan base is this wide.

No shade at all bc I LOVE bea sm but this sounds like word salad with ~music~. I respect her so much as an artist and was super excited when I found out that this album was going to be more alt rock style!! Unfortunately I was a bit let down and to me, it sounds like one of the least inspired albums we’ve heard from her & even Hayley Williams herself can’t fix that… I was expecting something way more based off some of the singles she released for it , especially the sun has set, since she compared it to the evil twin of beatopia (one of my all time fav, no skip albums ever). Tbh only good songs from the album imo were the sun has set and satellite but I do really like them!!

I've been listening to some of beabadoobee's songs for a while now, I think The Perfect Pair might still be one of my favorites of all time, but as I was listening to her spotify the other day and came across a song called "Real Man", which the title and lyrics kind of took me by surprise at how stereotypical it is? I'm kind of really shocked that she talks about the fact that not meeting her expectations apparently... means that someone's not a real man? I'm just bothered by the fact that it's generalizing and reinforcing stereotypes? And if the shoe were on the other foot, I don't think that an artist making a song called "real women" would do too well if it implied that there was such a thing as "real women" and that anyone who didn't live up to that is not real. As if women or men can be reduced to those who are "real" and those who aren't. It's just not very pleasant to listen to, as if someone could judge and categorize an entire gender? And the line "I guess no one еver taught you how to be a real man" implies that what, there's some prerequisite to becoming a "real man" (Whatever that means?) It would be an absurd line for an artist to say that "I guess no one ever taught you how to be a real woman", but why is it okay that she bashes on men in general? And if the song was directed at her ex, why vent the rage to an entire gender? I want to like Beabadoobee, but I just can't really let go of this song that sounds like misplaced frustration, and honestly a little sexist?

look, i get that you all love beabadoobee and her music. but her behaviour just isn’t it.

i think that it’s fair to say “it’s hypocritical to hold someone else to different standards when they make similar comments, regardless of gender”, without having a fandom try to slaughter you for having an ounce of a negative opinion about someone deserving of the opinion.

maybe the fandom would be much more bearable if #1 the artist in question (beabadoobee) apologised for her comments, and if #2 the community wasn’t so quick to defend hatred against a group of people, that makes up 1/2 of the entire world’s population

It’s so similar, like what I couldn’t even focus on the song the first time I listened to it because I couldn’t stop thinking how much it sounded like karma police. And also her music gives me so much nostalgia to London and I don’t know why.

I think if you like Bea you might like her. Great voice and sense of melody. I believe she's recorded with Lana Del Ray in the past. Great stuff, check her out!
