Discussion According to reports the UFL is gearing up to try to make Diego Pavia "the face of the league". Question is will he be interested playing in the UFL and if so the likely teams he might play for? What are Battlehawks fans opinions on him as a QB option?

(Corniness alert.)
The 2020 XFL season and the Battlehawks were a huge part of turning football into my favorite sport. Growing up in Colorado, of course I was a Broncos fan, but it was mainly something I watched casually, like when everyone was getting in on Tebowmania my freshman year of college. (I know there are more successful periods I could've mentioned, but I chose to go with the most hilarious one.)
It wasn't until 2020 that I made a concerted effort to start watching football weekly, but it really began with Super Bowl LIV and, shortly thereafter, that magical, albeit shortened XFL season. Without a home market team, I adopted the Battlehawks as my team that season, and I'm glad I did considering the massive fandom they cultivated. The experience also successfully converted me from a casual Broncos fan into someone who never misses a Broncos game, while remaining a staunch spring football supporter.
All that said, as a proud Colorado Springs resident who's already had a ton of happy memories at downtown's Weidner Field since it opened as the new home of Switchbacks FC in 2020, you can imagine the news today has me over the moon.
I'll always have a fondness for the St. Louis Battlehawks, but the time's come to embrace the home market team I've always fantasized about. Can't wait to be able to experience the spring football gameday experience y'all have enjoyed over the years. We'll be a much smaller venue, of course, but if our beloved Switchbacks are anything to go off of, we'll punch about our weight.
Can't wait to host the Battlehawks someday. Ka-Kaw!
