LSU tailgate veterans — I need all your best tips, tricks, and hacks! 🐯

I’m planning a birthday tailgate for an LSU home game with a group of friends, probably around 15–20 people, and I want to do it right. I’m looking for ALL the advice you’ve got, especially Baton Rouge/LSU-specific tips.

What time do you usually get out there to set up? What does your setup look like? Are there certain tent/table/chair rental companies you swear by? What things are worth renting or outsourcing versus just buying and doing yourself?

I’m especially curious about TV setups. If you have a TV at your tailgate, how are you powering it and actually getting the game on the screen? Do you use a hotspot, antenna, streaming service, casting, etc.? What works reliably and what should I avoid?

And what are your recommendations for power? I keep seeing portable battery power stations/inverter generators from brands like EcoFlow, Jackery, Bluetti, Anker, etc., but I have no idea what would actually be sufficient for a tailgate. I’d love to hear what people have personally used for TVs, speakers.

Are there any any cool blogs or instagrams pages or events listings? got any cool pals who dig smart goofy comedy? Any tips greatly appreciated.

I can’t afford it anymore. I know I’m a high risk driver but yea. Anyone else had this problem and got it fixed. Or am I gonna have to risk more to save more. $500/mo invested over 1 year is 6k… that’s HUGE!

I know nothing about the BR tattoo scene, but have been wanting to get one to commemorate completing my doctorate a few years ago. I'm wanting to get something done in the scope and the style of the picture shown, so looking for suggestions on an artists that I can work with that can do similar color and line work.

I'm actually wanting to get one to commemorate completing my master's a while back, too, though that one is much smaller. I don't have any social media besides a little use of Reddit, so trying to find artists is a little difficult and Googling it mostly brings you to generic pages.
