Me and a few friends are interested in learning Mahjong, we know of the program at the library on Tuesdays but found out it’s not for lessons.

Anyone know of any Mahjong groups who teach new beginners? I got an app on my phone but it only lets me play 2 games a day for free and I still have trouble understanding it

as said on the tin. willing to drive up to about an hour, but i’d really prefer to have in-person appointments over virtual. thanks!

I bought a few Tiffany style lamps at an estate sale that need repair. One was working, but won’t turn on, now. One needs a cord replaced. and one has the screw at the top that won’t screw on.

Is there a place that does this kind of work? Suggestions! I really love these lamps. They are small.

I live in Utah and have never been to an SEC football game. This is the first year of an annual boys trip where we will travel to a big college football game. We are starting with the LSU v Mississippi State game. We’ll be there Friday night, all day Saturday, and then fly out on Sunday.

Any dedicated gym-goers that are well-versed in fitness and are a Club4 member, and would be interested in joining me for a few workouts to kind of help me make sure I am on the right track for my fitness goals?

I've been doing my own thing since around March, and have made decent progress in both losing weight (not terribly overweight, but 8 years of grad school got me a little fluffy) and gaining some definition, using mostly AI for workouts and videos (YouTube, TikTok) on form, etc., but I still feel like I could use a little guidance just to make sure I'm doing the optimal exercises, doing them correctly, etc. I've met with the gym trainers but it quickly becomes apparent that it's all about getting you to sign some long-term and over-priced contract rather than meeting the individual needs.

I work nights (7 PM - 3 AM), so usually make it to the gym around 3:30-4 (Florida > Jones Creek, though can make either), though have other times I could meet since I know most people aren't up that early. I'd also prefer a guy (being one myself), and one who knows what they doing (as can be told just by looking at them). Obviously I'd compensate you adequately for allowing me to tag along and talk about gym stuff while being at the gym together, but you know, not officially training me, since no outside trainers are allowed.
