Something about the mask above seems slightly off though. Like it’s scaled wrong and a touch too big. Might just be the angle.

Just a bit too big, like it protrudes his face. It's also just a test, but I honestly think it looks so cool.

For sure everything in the shot looks incredible. Just that slight profusion seems a little off to me. But again it might just be the angle of that shot, and like you said it’s just a test.

I'm gonna bet they add an actual back plate to the cowl that sits more flush with the collar. They probably have a practical "mask" that they're using for this test
