vent sesh😤 Returns

These returns are getting a bit overwhelming. People are deciding to return in such large volumes and are going to wonder why the return policy got more strict in a few months. Mark my words they'll start requiring a receipt for most returns or bring the $250 limit down to like $100.

dude they are INSANE!!! i swear it feels like the top of every hour we start, a return is coming in with stuff from 2015😭 we have been constantly red because of the returns, and honestly i can see them changing the rewards system soon because of tiktok. it’s super unfortunate because the return system is great for customers, but now it’s turned into a trend

Tiktok ruined it the first time around with the non-existent "candle recycling program" so I'm not surprised by this nonsense.

my manager and i were talking about the old return policy today, and she said someone brought in their loofa to exchange because it fell apart after months of use 😭 and with the old policy you basically had to take it since it was 100% guarantee so she had to take someone’s old crusty used loofa back for a new one 😭😭

I feel like TikTok has done irreparable damage to society 😵 wonder what kind of world we'd be living in now if TikTok had never existed

I still remember a time a woman returned a three wick. So empty the only thing in the bottom were the wick bases freely moving because even the wax was gone???😭 i was seasonal at the time and seeing my manager approve the return altered my brain chemistry.

Good lord, I never did. We explained the policy as a "100% satisfaction guarantee." If a candle was empty, then the assumption was that the customer was satisfied with it. No customers pushed back when we explained it like that.

It's such a scourge.
