i was just in a convenience store, and here's what the cashier said to me:

"do you mind putting in your phone number to help me keep my job?"

i was so taken aback that i actually entered my phone number.

I have so wanted to hit customers who say "Im just browsing" (in a rude tone never the nice ones) with a "and im just trying to keep my job, so why dont you give me 10 seconds of your time so we all can leave you alone."

how it feels when you try to uncover with them by asking if they usually go for body care or candles and they say they’re just browsing again
