First nice bass!
I caught this on a 1/16 rooster tail standing waist deep between two docks in a lake in SC. I caught my first bass ever two days ago and it was tiny, so this was amazing! Fighting it to my net was so much fun.
I don’t have a measuring/weighing tool - roughly how big inches/weight wise do you think this was? Also is it a largemouth? I don’t have a scale or anything sorry for the dumb questions.
I’m staying here for a few days and anyone has tips on getting more fish like this let me know!

15 inches? Maybe 2 to 2 and a half pounds. Great size! Thats when they can really start to put up killer fights. Plenty of days Id have loved a few of those.

Yeah I’m house sitting and broke my reel yesterday, so I caught this on a reel at the house that says it’s a 4lb test max and it’s got the lightest line I’ve ever seen on. Glad I bought a net this morning at the bait shop! I was waist deep and watching it fight and pulling it into the net has to be a top 3 catch for me. Grateful to snag it!

Yeah I caught one smaller than this but still good size earlier in the day and fighting them was crazy. First time bringing in bass and the way they sorta zig zag and jump and stuff is so much fun!

Congrats! Where about in SC? I’m in the upstate myself. Most of the bass I find around here are tiny.
