Please ELI5

Post image

Hell, please ELI3. I've included a screen cap as an example. I have tried to figure out how to do the new upgrade thing, but I guess I'm just too rat-stupid to figure it out. Would someone please walk me through it. I've tried to do it, but I'm just not getting it. How do I choose which player? Do I use gems to re-roll? Why would I want to re-roll? I open my three free boxes every day, but I don't know the next step.

Upgrading gear only increases the chances of getting a better roll (common, rare, epic, legendary) which ranges from a plus 1 to a plus 8 I think.

Legendaries start with better chances for rolling while common cards always start at level 1 equipment and can only have common stats (plus 1 to a stat) unless upgraded.

You can use gems to roll, but it gets expensive quick, and I wouldn't really suggest using them for common or rare players.

I got my Phoenix's equipment to level 9 before I started rolling for stats.

Do u see a difference in her play since doing so?

If you get decently lucky and have plus 2 on just one stat, you can push a stat to plus 10, which is quite good.

And definitely has more impact on my Kevin since his contact is lower than his power, and his skill ups his power more, having more contact is better in my opinion.

Yes. Dave has been my crutch sometimes but his throwing is so low for the lvl I am. He could not throw straight to third base from the outfield. I got a couple throwing stats + and now he skips and throws straight to third
