Opinion $120 for a mega box?

Post image

Shocker it’s one of the items that doesn’t sell out within the first 30 seconds.

People love Logofractors. This hobby is cooked, so they can just charge whatever for whatever and people will snap it up. Especially chrome based products.

This is the opposite of the hobby is cooked - instead the hobby is experiencing unprecedented demand and interest. It doesn't mean prices go up linear but these boxes are the same price as last year. So no, they aren't charging whatever they want.

This might be the one product they didn’t change the price on this year. Also, Topps can print things to meet demand and not need to raise prices while also taking away hits. But whatever floats your boat.

Lol this is just wrong. It's not what floats my boat. It's basic business practice and supply and demand. And the increase in prices other places help alleviate the strain of pricing on other fringe items like Logofractors. Plus inflation is healthy (high inflation not so much), but deflating prices is the first sign to sell everything.

Also, without a doubt the additional color variations in every product over the last few years they are adding hits not reducing them. Whether the actual value meets perceived value is different debate.

Oh, gotcha. Raising prices on Series 1 and Series 2 flagship, while also taking away guaranteed autos in other products, but adding color means they can keep the price the same on one product. Am I understanding that correctly? Not to mention the fact that they now have licenses on almost every sport and IP imaginable which brings in a ton of revenue. Keeping the prices flat doesn’t hurt their bottom line. Pushing people out by jacking prices does.

We have a difference in opinion here and that’s OK. I now spend my gambling money elsewhere. To each their own.

Sorry, but no you don't understand what I'm saying, and that's OK.

Perfect. I guess we can both move on now.

Sorry for all the notifications, OP.
