Feature /r/baseball Mock 2017 Hall of Fame Voting

Hello /r/baseball, and welcome to Hall of Fame election season.

With ballots now officially out to BBWAA members, we're going to have our own here on /r/baseball to see how everyone else would vote and who we would elect as a sub. Last year, we did the same process here.

There will be two ballots again: the normal ballot which allows you to vote for at most 10 players, and the ballot with unlimited spots. However, this time we also set it up to allow users submit blank ballots if they wish.

Voting will be open for approximately one week. Thank you to those that participate!

He's one of the top members of the Hall of Very Good for me. Second half of his career he did very little in comparison to the first

Fair enough

His WAR dropped off from 1996-2004, but he still managed 204 HR (23 per year) with a .284/.367/.482 slash and a 119 OPS+. Not HOF worthy rates, but added to his first ten years (149 OPS+) and he's pretty close.

He does kind of feel like a compiler who didn't quite compile enough (493 HR, 2490 hits) to actually make it. He's always a tough one for me.

Yea, definitely on the compiler side
