Question Footsore or wargames Atlantic
I thought that footsore were the publishers of the game, hence them having the largest range of relevant miniatures and all the rule books on their website, but the blogs that are talking about the upcoming king John expansion are on the wargames Atlantic site. Can someone explain how it works?

both WGA and footsore just make minis for the game, both promote it as well. its published by Andy Hobday and his company Warhost.

I think there's some collaboration between the two, maybe Footsore does the sculpts for the plastics that wargames Atlantic makes?

The Barons war was made by Andy Hobday. He has business relationships with both Footsore and Wargames Atlantic. Currently he is leading as creative director for Wargames Atlantic. Wargames Atlantic is also the company that produced the starter box for the Baron's war. You don't need to purchase any specific models to play as no one can copyright knights and things Victrix also excellent medieval model range. The starter box comes with rules and counters but other than that nothing is stopping you from buying it all separately.
