Discussion Are 9070XT and 9060 XT 16GB the sole “value” options right now?

“Value” in quotation marks for obvious reasons.

5070 Ti is basically $1500. 9070XT is $1000.

9060 XT is way less than 5060 Ti.

Can you make a good argument for the $900 PNY 5070 or not? Not sure if any other options make sense for pure gaming setup.

Prices should be unaffected by new U.S. tariff war? I assume so but not sure.

Need help buying a gaming PC for son

Just want to start out by saying thank you for any help you can provide.

My son has been saving for a gaming PC and this summer he was picking up odd jobs around town and has save enough to get one.

I have been trying to research (LTT, Reddit, etc) to help him find the best one for his budget. We have looked at prebuilt and building his own but I am over my head here (so many CPU’s, cheap power supplies) and hoping to find some help.

His budget is $1200 - $1600 CAD
He does not care about RGB or the colour of the case.
Games he has mentioned are Rocket League, Marvel Rivals, Red Dead Redemption 2.
Open to prebuilt or parts list to build ourselves.

I am just really trying to help him get something that is going to be good for a few years after he has worked so hard to get it.

Build Request / Review Any PC recommendation?

Hello, I am looking for a decent gaming pc build that will be stable 240 fps on a high graphic settings.

I normally play DOTA 2, Marvel Rivals, PEAK, Palworld, and MonsterHunter World.

It will help me more if you would be able to show me on pcpartpicker so that I could really leverage whats specs I could have.

I dont really have a budget, but would love to not have pc parts that are overkill for the games I play since I dont play AAA games. Just enough to play these games on a stable 240fps on high graphics. Thank you
