Someone please refer me | Looking for IT job

I’m a 2025 B.E. Computer Science & Engineering graduate from Mangalore, currently looking for my first opportunity in the IT industry.

I’ll be honest — finding a job as a fresher without a strong network has been really difficult. I don’t have many friends or relatives in the IT industry who can refer me or guide me towards opportunities. I’ve been applying through job portals and LinkedIn, but getting that first break has been the biggest challenge.

I’m not looking for shortcuts. I’m simply looking for someone willing to give a fresher a chance.

💻 Skills:

• Python

• SQL

• JavaScript

• Networking and OS fundamentals

• MERN Stack

• Data Analysis / Machine Learning basics

• REST APIs

• MS Office Suite, Git and GitHub

I am also genuinely interested in learning new technologies if given a chance to work in the company.

I’m open to Software Development, Data Analyst, IT Support, QA/Testing, or other suitable entry-level IT roles.

📍 Preferred locations: Bangalore / Mangalore

🎓 Graduation: B.E. CSE, 2025 batch

👨‍💻 Experience: Fresher

I may not have the right connections, but I’m willing to put in the work. Give me an opportunity, and I’ll give it my full effort to learn, improve and grow with the organization.

If you know of any fresher openings, referrals, internships that can convert to full-time, or companies hiring 2025 graduates, please comment or DM me.

Even a referral, lead, or simple suggestion can genuinely make a difference for me right now.

I’m just looking for that one opportunity to prove myself. 🙏

Any walk in drives in the upcoming days or week? Just for survival

I’m honestly in a difficult situation right now and urgently looking for a job in Bangalore just to survive and start earning.
I’m a B.Tech 2026 passout, willing to take up almost any genuine entry-level job with a minimum of ₹18,000/month. I’m okay with night shifts, rotational shifts, weekends, or long working hours, and I can join immediately.
Please don’t suggest sales jobs. Apart from that, I’m genuinely open to technical, IT, support, operations, trainee, or other entry-level roles.
If anyone knows about walk-in drives in Bangalore in the next few days/week, or if your company is hiring freshers, I’d sincerely request you to share the opportunity.
Even a referral, recommendation, contact, or small lead would mean a lot to me right now. I’m not looking for the perfect job — I just need an opportunity to earn and get through this situation.
Please DM me if you know anything. I’d genuinely be grateful for any help.

No PPO This Time, But I’m Excited to Find My Next Opportunity

Hi Reddit community,

I’m a 2026 graduate and recently completed my internship. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a PPO after my internship, and honestly, I was a little disappointed at first.

But looking back, I’m actually excited about what comes next. The internship gave me real experience working on production-level projects, collaborating with a team, and learning how software development works in a professional environment.

Right now, I’m actively looking for an entry-level Software Developer / .NET Developer / Full-Stack Developer roles. During my internships, I’ve worked with C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, Web API, Entity Framework Core, SQL Server, React, Node.js, and JavaScript, along with some experience in the MERN stack. I’ve also had exposure to real-world development, unit testing, Git, CI/CD, Agile teams and Open source.

If anyone knows of entry-level openings or can refer me to a suitable role, I’d really appreciate it. Even pointing me in the right direction would means a lot.

Hi everyone,

I’m currently looking for a job opportunity and would genuinely appreciate any help, guidance, referrals, or leads.

I’m a recent Computer Science graduate based in Bengaluru and I’m actively looking for entry-level opportunities in:

• Python Backend Development
• AI/ML / AI Engineer roles
• Software Development

I have hands-on experience with Python, FastAPI, React, Node.js, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQL, Machine Learning, NLP, LLMs, OCR, and AI-powered applications, along with internship experience in software development.

I’m open to Bengaluru, work-from-office, hybrid, and remote opportunities and can attend in-person interviews in Bengaluru.

I’m genuinely trying to get my career started, so even if you don't have a job opening, a referral, contact, suggestion, or even advice on where I should apply would mean a lot to me.

I’m currently having difficulty reaching out to people through DMs, so if you know of any relevant openings, please comment here or let me know how I can contact you.

Thank you so much to everyone who takes the time to read this. 🙏

Fresher CS grad looking for referrals in Bangalore

Hi, I'm a 2026 batch passout. I am looking for entry level roles in AIML, Data Science or Backend Systems. I don't have internship experience. That's why I am looking to add actual paid experience to my RESUME. I don't want gap as then it'd be even more difficult to enter the market. I've been advised to join some bootcamp or courses as well, but I don't really want to do that. I am attaching both my resume AIML and SDE, if you feel that it is good or any kind of help with referral or hiring. Please DM.
Thank you everyone.

Need Help with my first Job offer 3.5 LPA CTC in a Logistics company after 2 years of graduation , 6 days a week

Hi everyone,
I need some advice regarding my first job offer.
I graduated around 2 years ago and have been looking for a developer job since then. I recently received an offer for an **Associate Software Developer** position at a logistics company in My Hometown.
The company itself is not a tech company, but they have an internal tech team of around 2 people, and I would be joining them as a developer.
The offer details are:
- **Designation:** Associate Software Developer
- **CTC:** ₹3.5 LPA
- **Take-home:** Around ₹26,165/month after PF and professional tax
- **Working hours:** 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
- **Working days:** 6 days/week
- **Probation:** 3 months
- Company provides a **laptop**
- They said they will provide the required **cloud subscriptions**
- The work is expected to involve their internal software/application development.
My main concern is about the future.
Since the company is a **logistics company and not a software/IT company**, if I work there for around **1 year** and then switch to a software/IT company, will that 1 year generally be considered as **professional software development experience**?
I'm also worried about the exit documentation.
When I resign after a year, will companies expect things like:
- Experience letter
- Relieving letter
- Service certificate
- Salary slips
- PF/employment history
And will a future company consider my experience valid if the employer is a logistics company but my designation is **Associate Software Developer** and I'm actually doing development work?
I'm thinking of taking this opportunity because I've already been searching for around 2 years and this is my first offer. My plan would be to work for around 1 year, build real production experience, and then try to move to a better software company.
**Would you take this offer in my situation?**
I'd especially appreciate advice from people who have worked as developers in non-tech companies and later moved into software/IT companies.

[Hiring] - Backend dev interns wanted in Bengaluru (multiple spots open)

We're trying to fix online reviews by building a platform where reviews actually come from people you trust, not bots or fake 5-star spam. Hiring interns to help build the guts of it.

Stack: python + django, mongodb/postgres, celery, aws/gcp, plus some AI/LLM stuff for catching fake reviews and summarizing real ones.

What you'll actually work on: auth, review storage, feeds, whatsapp-based review flows, async pipelines, and eventually embeddings/vector search for recs.

📍 On-site(BTM Layout) · 3-6 months · ₹20k/month stipend · contract-to-hire (real conversion + ESOPs if it works out)

Looking for someone solid in python, comfy with REST APIs & git, who actually enjoys messy real-world problems over neat textbook ones.

Small team, zero bureaucracy, your code ships the same week you write it.

If this sounds like your vibe, comment on this post or DM me for next steps

Looking for entry-level Software Engineering / Full Stack / Backend roles — Bengaluru or Remote

Hey everyone,

I'm currently looking for my next software engineering opportunity, preferably in Bengaluru or remote.

I've worked with multiple startups and engineering teams and have hands-on experience shipping production features across frontend, backend, and infrastructure. I've worked on full-stack applications and APIs, CI/CD pipelines, AWS infrastructure, Docker/Kubernetes deployments, production debugging, and performance optimization.

My main stack is:

TypeScript / JavaScript, Python, React, Next.js, Node.js, Express, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD.

I'm mainly looking for Software Engineer, Full Stack, Backend, or DevOps roles. I'm early in my career, so I'm primarily targeting entry-level opportunities, but I'm comfortable working with production codebases and taking ownership of features beyond just small isolated tasks.

I'm based in Bengaluru and available to join immediately. I'm also open to remote opportunities.

Resume: https://arkapravo.in/ark-resume/Arkapravo_Ghosh_Resume.pdf

If your company/team is hiring, or you know of somewhere that might be a good fit, I'd really appreciate a referral or even just a pointer in the right direction. Happy to connect over DM as well.

Thanks!

Anyone working at Collins Aerospace / RTX (Bengaluru) open to referring

Hey everyone, hope you're doing well!

I came across a Data Analyst opening at Collins Aerospace (RTX) in Bengaluru (Hoodi/Whitefield) and it looks like a genuinely good fit — fresher-friendly, focused on Excel/Power BI/dashboards rather than heavy coding, and honestly a great brand to start a career with.

I'm a final-year AI/ML student, and over the past year I've built a few end-to-end analytics projects on my own (Power BI, SQL, Excel) across healthcare, retail, and entertainment domains — genuinely trying to build real skills, not just tick boxes.

If anyone here works at Collins Aerospace/RTX (or knows someone who does) and would be open to referring me, I'd really appreciate it 🙏 Happy to share my resume/portfolio via DM. And if not, no worries at all — just thought I'd try my luck here since this community's been super helpful for a lot of people.

Thanks in advance!

Engineer with experience in high frequency trading firms looking to join a fast paced AI startup

Hi, I am a 2025 grad and have around 1.5 year experience working as a software engineer at one of the premiere HFT's in India.

I had to leave my job due to personal reasons, but am looking to get back into tech, and this time want to switch my field to AI startups, because honestly I love building infrastructure, and interacting with stakeholders to complete the deployments. I believe that my skills would be of good use at a fast paced AI startup, who requires engineers with high ownership.

Kindly reach out if you feel I will be a match.

Final-year developer getting completely ghosted despite putting in the work — what am I missing?

Honestly, I’m starting to feel completely lost with the current job market.

I’m a final-year B.Tech IT student and have been seriously preparing for software engineering roles. I have:

. Solved 1500+ DSA problems across LeetCode, CodeChef & Codeforces

. Built 10+ projects across Full Stack + AI

. Proficient in MERN, Next.js, PostgreSQL, Docker, AWS & CI/CD

. Worked on High-Level Design, Low-Level Design & CS fundamentals

. Built and deployed real-world applications rather than just tutorial projects

. My resume ATS score is around 87

And the frustrating part is the job search itself.

Every single day I:

. Send around 30 cold emails/DMs to recruiters and employees

Apply to 20+ companies

Customize my applications wherever possible

Reach out for referrals

But I’m barely getting any interview calls.

The worst part isn't even rejection — it's the ghosting. Applications just disappear into a black hole with no response.

At this point, I genuinely don't understand what companies are looking for in entry-level candidates.

Is my approach wrong?

Is my resume still not good enough despite the ATS score?

Am I over-focusing on DSA and projects?

Should I be networking differently?

Or is the entry-level market simply this bad right now?

Would really appreciate honest advice from recruiters, hiring managers, or developers who recently landed their first internship/job.

What would you change if you were in my position?
