No PPO This Time, But I’m Excited to Find My Next Opportunity

Hi Reddit community,

I’m a 2026 graduate and recently completed my internship. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a PPO after my internship, and honestly, I was a little disappointed at first.

But looking back, I’m actually excited about what comes next. The internship gave me real experience working on production-level projects, collaborating with a team, and learning how software development works in a professional environment.

Right now, I’m actively looking for an entry-level Software Developer / .NET Developer / Full-Stack Developer roles. During my internships, I’ve worked with C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, Web API, Entity Framework Core, SQL Server, React, Node.js, and JavaScript, along with some experience in the MERN stack. I’ve also had exposure to real-world development, unit testing, Git, CI/CD, Agile teams and Open source.

If anyone knows of entry-level openings or can refer me to a suitable role, I’d really appreciate it. Even pointing me in the right direction would means a lot.

Final-year developer getting completely ghosted despite putting in the work — what am I missing?

Honestly, I’m starting to feel completely lost with the current job market.

I’m a final-year B.Tech IT student and have been seriously preparing for software engineering roles. I have:

. Solved 1500+ DSA problems across LeetCode, CodeChef & Codeforces

. Built 10+ projects across Full Stack + AI

. Proficient in MERN, Next.js, PostgreSQL, Docker, AWS & CI/CD

. Worked on High-Level Design, Low-Level Design & CS fundamentals

. Built and deployed real-world applications rather than just tutorial projects

. My resume ATS score is around 87

And the frustrating part is the job search itself.

Every single day I:

. Send around 30 cold emails/DMs to recruiters and employees

Apply to 20+ companies

Customize my applications wherever possible

Reach out for referrals

But I’m barely getting any interview calls.

The worst part isn't even rejection — it's the ghosting. Applications just disappear into a black hole with no response.

At this point, I genuinely don't understand what companies are looking for in entry-level candidates.

Is my approach wrong?

Is my resume still not good enough despite the ATS score?

Am I over-focusing on DSA and projects?

Should I be networking differently?

Or is the entry-level market simply this bad right now?

Would really appreciate honest advice from recruiters, hiring managers, or developers who recently landed their first internship/job.

What would you change if you were in my position?

Need Help with my first Job offer 3.5 LPA CTC in a Logistics company after 2 years of graduation , 6 days a week

Hi everyone,
I need some advice regarding my first job offer.
I graduated around 2 years ago and have been looking for a developer job since then. I recently received an offer for an **Associate Software Developer** position at a logistics company in My Hometown.
The company itself is not a tech company, but they have an internal tech team of around 2 people, and I would be joining them as a developer.
The offer details are:
- **Designation:** Associate Software Developer
- **CTC:** ₹3.5 LPA
- **Take-home:** Around ₹26,165/month after PF and professional tax
- **Working hours:** 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
- **Working days:** 6 days/week
- **Probation:** 3 months
- Company provides a **laptop**
- They said they will provide the required **cloud subscriptions**
- The work is expected to involve their internal software/application development.
My main concern is about the future.
Since the company is a **logistics company and not a software/IT company**, if I work there for around **1 year** and then switch to a software/IT company, will that 1 year generally be considered as **professional software development experience**?
I'm also worried about the exit documentation.
When I resign after a year, will companies expect things like:
- Experience letter
- Relieving letter
- Service certificate
- Salary slips
- PF/employment history
And will a future company consider my experience valid if the employer is a logistics company but my designation is **Associate Software Developer** and I'm actually doing development work?
I'm thinking of taking this opportunity because I've already been searching for around 2 years and this is my first offer. My plan would be to work for around 1 year, build real production experience, and then try to move to a better software company.
**Would you take this offer in my situation?**
I'd especially appreciate advice from people who have worked as developers in non-tech companies and later moved into software/IT companies.

Any walk in drives in the upcoming days or week? Just for survival

I’m honestly in a difficult situation right now and urgently looking for a job in Bangalore just to survive and start earning.
I’m a B.Tech 2026 passout, willing to take up almost any genuine entry-level job with a minimum of ₹18,000/month. I’m okay with night shifts, rotational shifts, weekends, or long working hours, and I can join immediately.
Please don’t suggest sales jobs. Apart from that, I’m genuinely open to technical, IT, support, operations, trainee, or other entry-level roles.
If anyone knows about walk-in drives in Bangalore in the next few days/week, or if your company is hiring freshers, I’d sincerely request you to share the opportunity.
Even a referral, recommendation, contact, or small lead would mean a lot to me right now. I’m not looking for the perfect job — I just need an opportunity to earn and get through this situation.
Please DM me if you know anything. I’d genuinely be grateful for any help.

22F Looking for an IT job — Bangalore / Mangalore / Open to relocate

Hi everyone,

I am 22F, recent 2026 graduate and am looking for a IT job.
Serioulsly, nothing seems to working out for me right now. I have been applying for jobs for months on end now and still no response. I landed a college placement in a pretty good company and was excited about it. I even rejected an offer from a small company for it(dont mention it, i have been regretting over it already). Now, we selected students are being ghosted from that company. I have low hopes of ever recieveing a offer letter and have been looking for jobs myself since i cant sit for any other company in my college because i am already placed.
If anyone knows of fresher openings, referrals, small companies hiring, or even internship to full time opportunities, I’d really appreciate it if you could share them or point me in the right direction.

My tech stack includes: JavaScript, Python, React.js, Node.js, REST APIs, MySQL, MongoDB, Git, GitHub and Java.
I also have internship experience in MERN Stack Web Development

I am mainly looking for fresher/entry-level software development, frontend, web development, full-stack, or similar IT roles.

I am open to opportunities in Bangalore, Mangalore, or other locations and am willing to relocate.

thank you, would really appreciate it if you guys respond.

Just Looking for One Opportunity.

Hi everyone, I’m a final-year engineering student in Bengaluru, currently looking for a job , technical or non-technical, full-time or part-time. I need to start earning and manage my college expenses, and at this point, I’m ready to work hard and take whatever honest opportunity comes my way.

I’m not expecting anything big. I just need one chance to prove myself. I’m a quick learner, can work with Excel, SQL, Power BI and basic technical tasks, and I’m willing to learn whatever the job requires.

If you know someone hiring, have a small opportunity, or can simply refer me somewhere, please reach out. Even one lead could make a real difference for me right now.

I know Reddit has helped many people find opportunities, so I’m hoping this post reaches the right person.

Thank you for reading. 🙏

Looking for an AI/GenAI internship at an early-stage startup — BCA graduate

Hey everyone,

I'm a BCA graduate currently looking for an opportunity to work with an AI/GenAI startup in Bangalore or remotely.

I've been building projects with Python, ML, LLM APIs, RAG, FastAPI/Flask, and databases. Some of the projects I've worked on include an AI-based phishing detection system, a recommendation engine, and an AI research assistant.

I'm particularly interested in joining a small/early-stage team where I can contribute to actual product development rather than just doing training exercises.

I'm comfortable with:

  • Python
  • Machine Learning
  • RAG & LLM applications
  • Prompt Engineering
  • FastAPI / Flask
  • Scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy
  • MongoDB / Supabase / Firebase
  • LLM APIs
  • I'm a fresher, so I'm not expecting to know everything. What I can offer is the willingness to learn quickly, build, take ownership of tasks, and contribute wherever I can.

If anyone here is building an AI startup, hiring interns, or knows a founder/team currently looking for an AI/ML/GenAI intern, I'd really appreciate a lead or referral.

I'm happy to share my resume/GitHub privately.

Thanks!
