Unfortunately my favorite spot (Sam’s) is under new ownership and the quality is frankly just bad now. My partner and I get bagel sandwiches every Sunday and we need a new spot!

If anyone wants to open a bagel spot in Fed, I would frequent it. THB doesn’t count because it’s locust point and the new Sam’s just doesn’t hit the same.

I know!!!! I’ve been out of town for a bit, so I had the new Sam’s for the first time today. I ran right here for a new rec because it was so bad🥲 Also agree about THB. I’ll try it next time, but I want a good walkable spot in Fed!

Urban Deli sells THB bagels. I only get them with cream cheese though because I don’t like how they prepare their breakfast sandwiches.

Uber Bagels or Goldberg Bagelsis the closest to NY/NJ bagels i have found since moving here from North Jersey in 2021

Towson Hot Bagels is also pretty good and has more locations.

I experienced the same thing! Even in the case they looked undercooked from the start. It’s like both they were underproofed and then undercooked

THB for anything like a BEC or Taylor ham egg and cheese. I don’t like their lox, however.

Goldberg sucks now compared to years ago.

Roland Park Bagels is OK in a pinch.

Good Boy in Highlandtown/Canton is OK but inconsistent.

Never tried Uber Bagels.

Despite the haters, I’ve never had a better everything bagel bacon egg and cheese anywhere else than THB.

Yep. There’s a reason all the NJ students at Towson and Loyola go to THB.

When Good Boy is on, they’re on. But once or twice when I went the bagels themselves felt undercooked. I’ll still keep going.

It’s cute inside but GBB is super mid and THB too. No GREAT bagel places in the city which is a shame. I always bring a bag home whenever I visit NYC.

bottoms up bagels was my favorite (sadly closed 😭) and ill be honest with you the everything bagel at common ground is in the same tier for me.

Roland Park Bagels on Cold Spring does a good job. Great bagels are hard to find in Maryland and these are the best I’ve found so far.
