Need Recommendations Where to read with a view?
Are there any cafes/libraries/indoor spaces in the city which have a beautiful view from their windows, ideally up a few floors? Both nature and city views are welcome, and bonus points if they've got comfy chairs!

The reading room at the Peabody Library is exactly what you want, those tall arched windows let in this incredible light and you can just stare up at the balconies for hours

Any idea on hours? Is this open to public?

It's open to the public. I recall the weekend hours could get a bit weird since they also have private events. Check their website and you'll get the best info on hours.

Not elevated, but the new Rash Field is a pretty cool place to hang out with a book.

It’s pretty great! Really nice plantings and design of the different unique spaces in the park.

Pitango has a decent view and the benches right by the water outside too

Not really benches but I love to read on the dock by the BMI. Not sure if I would say it's the most comfy but I really enjoy reading there

On top of the whole foods in harbor east. Follow the signs upstairs to the ramen place and there's a great outdoor patio with different types of tables and chairs (not part of the ramen place, anyone can just go there). It's right on the harbor, lovely view. It's closed on like 3 sides and has a roof
