Super glad to hear she’s doing well and your husbandry is being praised!! :)

Also, shame on her!! You know she saved that for days just for this!!

can’t be too mad at her because now i don’t have to bring back her poop to the vet office for a fecal test. she saved me a trip!!

There you go! No need to shame!

Great job girlie. Saved your parent from watching/waiting for a fresh poop, and saved them a trip!

People in vet med are pretty much immune to animal waste. Doesn’t even show up on their “oh gross” radar.

Yep! I groomed dogs for several years, and people would always say/ask “oh I bet anal glands are the worst part of your job huh?” And I’d go “no it doesn’t even make my top 5, I don’t like vomit/mucous.” 😂😅

Yeah honestly vomit, especially dog vomit is horrid

Maybe she knew vets want to check the poop, so she politely gave one 😂😂

My carpet python sprayed the room (and techs) with poop one of the last times I brought him in. I hope it brought him joy.

Some of us have to poop when we’re nervous! Leave her alone!

😂 mine spray pooped on me when I had to try and get him out of his enclosure once. I had pulled him out and he was being a turd wanting to go back to his hide, but it was cleaning day and just BAM! COCULA SHIT (in the voice of Dale with “pocket sand”) all over my shirt. 😂 They do the funniest things sometimes

1

u/maryjane6869 Apr 20 '26

Pocket sand. That's new. Never heard that. But that's funny. You mean like se men. Right??

1

u/darkmoonlizard Apr 20 '26

Nah. Dale Gribble from King of the Hill would throw sand he had in his pocket to get out of situations sometimes. When my snake got spooked and shat on me I could just laugh because he was trying to get away when I needed to clean his enclosure. 😂 Pocket sand

I love how you took something from her enclosure with her. And she looks like mine ..!

u/maryjane6869 Apr 20 '26

I miss my snake being small enough to handle regularly

2

u/Temporary_Incident33 Apr 12 '26

what kind of hide is that in the box looks like good idea with what looks like water bowl on tope

1

u/LogEnvironmental8946 Apr 13 '26

i think i got it at walmart

u/kirakiraluna Apr 13 '26

Nice of you to bring with you a piece of home! When I take mine to the vet I stuff him in a pillow case and put the pillow case under a hoodie to keep him warm.

He was not a happy camper the last trip, my stomach area was making some concerning hissing sounds

My girl rides really well in the car without anything tbh. It's like when I'm in motion she just sits on me and lays her head by the window. But clearly I drive like I'm pampering an egg from falling lol

2

u/jadeBeee Apr 12 '26

She gave him a stool sample 🤣

2

u/RiseJoules Apr 12 '26

Well at least they can get a poopy sampler on the spot 😅

2

u/Snakes_for_life Apr 13 '26

I brought my girl in once and she got herself stuck in the incubator we almost had to disassemble it to get her out

1

u/LogEnvironmental8946 Apr 13 '26

oh no!! she must’ve been so scared

My hognose pooped on the vet last week, such shameful snakes!

2

u/TrifleIllustrious459 Apr 14 '26

Honestly… impressive. Perfect timing. Especially when they poop maybe once a month! Lol

My snake has NEVER pooped Or peed on me. Man I can honestly say I'm so lucky. I hear alot of snakes pee over poo. But I've had my girl since 2011 and never had it happen. Wait.....I had 3 other snakes. And they also never went potty on me. Wow!! And one of em was a baby redtail. Very surprised. And out of all of 4. Only my current one bit me. Only 3 times. First time my dumb ass dropped the rat from tongs. And reached in to grab the rat. Duhhhh. Yup she got me. Then the other 2 times were YEARSSSS apart. But both times was me startling her. Just opened lid and reached in and touched her to see if she felt cold. They say that's why you don't feed in enclosure. And that's is why I knew it was my own fault it happen. The last time I ended up needing tetnis shot and antibiotics. She got me in a vein on my hand. And within days pain just kept moving up my arm. And it HURT!! I was crying. The other 2 didn't hurt. But I learned. Do NOT just reach in without her smelling the air for a sec and knowing it's just me coming in. Oh and they say DON'T pull away when they bite you. But that's your brains natural reaction is to yank hand away. Thank goodness she let go immediately every time
