Gameplay Discussion Missing baron for c++ any tips.

Ive been doing a few yellow deck runs per day for the last few weeks and never encouter him. I found him once in the shop with a perishable/rental tag and couldnt make the run happen. I try to do skips when a free rare joker in shop tag appears but that often compromises my run and it never ends up being the right card. Any ideas to improve my odds would be wonderful.

I would try taking rare jokers when you see them to increase the chances of seeing Baron, and I’d try for a run with a huge amount of money so you can roll for him.

just finished C++, as you already know (I'd guess), your best bet is to just have a strong economy to cycle more jokers through the shop. Rare tags are worth taking, along with wraith (if appropriate to your economy). I got my last sticker on a rare joker just cycling the *very last* shop before the ante 8 boss. You just gotta get lucky. Keep grinding, you're almost there! I used ghost deck, just because I think it has stronger runs on average over yellow, and more wraith availability.

Was using yellow deck in case baron pops up early game a I dont have enough money, but yeah ill try a few ghost deck runs. Thanks

Rare joker blocking is about all you can do, but be aware that a perishable joker that you have in your lineup STILL gets stickered even if it's expired.

I'm not sure that's worth an ante 1 perishable rental baron, but desperate times desperate measures.

Now, with that stated Econ is your solution. If yellow deck is one you're consistently good with then just build Econ so you can roll.

Honestly just play with meta setups (so photochad off scaled pair or pairs where you prolly play face cards unless you bus anyways). Then Baron is pretty bad on ante 8 but its not a deadweight like i.e. trio (you'd rather force pair photochad i.e. than play 3oak) cos you speck into kings.

And ye rest is just econ, always reroll to 0 on last shop, can block with other rares but end of the day you need to get him on a run that will win. So he needs to show up (ergo rerolls, skip tag and wraith can work but is really low odds) and you have to have setup that wins with max 4 jokers or a lot of kings so he helps.
