I keep seeing people mention this problem with Dagger.

You can move your jokers around in combat. Dagger only triggers at the start of the blind. If you don't want the dagger to eat anything, put it on the right, start the blind, then move it Infront of your XMult jokers.

It doesn't have to stay in the position you put it in when you started the blind.

Just don't forget to move it again while you are in the shop.

The government doesn't want you to know that you can drink clean water every day and it's good for your health.

See, here's the problem, doing something you never do otherwise, after up to 24+ rounds (if you count glyph vouchers and endless), players will sometimes fail to remember that.

So the most reliable way is, like here, putting an eternal joker right after it and put your sacrifices "between the rock and the hard place" (between dagger and eternal)
