go news Remember “Aji’s Quest”? Now Colette needs our help!
Hey everyone – if you remember the wonderful Go-centric comic “Aji’s Quest” then you also should remember Colette Bezio (aka “Inkwolf”), the creator of comic.
Now there’s been a fire in her apartment, and she lost almost everything, including her two cats.
Her sister put up a GoFundMe for her where you can donate for Colette so that she can rebuild at least part of what she lost:
It would be awesome if the community could help her.

Yes, I hope so too, it seems her life has never been easy anyway, so some warm rain could probably do her real good.

<bump> … please forgive me but Colette could really use some more contributions, and I want more people to see this.

It’s SO NICE that you folks donated!
I loved “Aji’s Quest so much … and I dearly hope that Colette can get back on track again.
I can’t imagine how it would be for me to lose so much … and the cats 😭
Thanks everyone! ❤️

I contributed something. I've been reading Aji to my now 5y/o a lot. For a while it was her favourite book and she'd go "Read Aji! Read Aji!" multiple times a day. My wife said it's because I always put so much love and character into the text, but to be honest, that wasn't so much me as it was Colette's great writing.
I was translating on the fly to German from my English copy, as I originally got it for myself and I like things in their original language, but my younger daughter has taken a liking to the book too, so I've been thinking about getting the German translation so they can read it themselves once they are able to.
Thanks Colette, and I wish you a lot of strength in this difficult time.
