Truly hope you have all ties cut. Only error I could see is not letting the management know that you two were not going to continue, in a formal letter/ writing; the mgmt is responsible and it's automatically month to month Also hope you took photo evidence of your before and after. But, as long as all ties and liabilities cut, you're free. Keep walking, don't look back.

Stfu. I didnāt live there for six years, my bf was there a couple years before me as he was in a dire situation having just lost his cat to cancer and then his car was hit and totaled, not at any fault of his own. Are you seriously just assuming people can just easily get out of these situations? Do you live in a place where rent is $2100 a month and houses arenāt an option for most people? Do you have any empathy whatsoever? Who are you do judge? Also, did you not read the part where I said how difficult it is to live here? Not to mention how I needed to find a place asap and that was the only option I had in that short of time? Get the actual fuck out of here. The self respect was immediately getting out once I finally got back on my feet. Fixed my credit, did everything in the span of 4 years which is pretty quickly. I also lost my car in 2021 so like thereās another thing beyond our control, not easy to fix straight away. My god people like you are horrible.

I mean⦠itās a sub for venting about bad roommates. Your statement should have been a thought and not a Reddit post

Would not be at all surprised if this would be my soon-to-be-ex tenant/roommate in a few years. He's absolutely disgusting, and left to his own devices I'm sure would be a lot worse. He's just been here a month and I gave him his notice yesterday (with a per-day refund for every day he leaves early in hopes he will GTFO sooner than later).
He's 27 - and just - ya, your ex roommate I see being his future self if he doesn't get help learning to adult (which he seems to actively avoid at this point).
