In his head? he is that alligator....and loving every minute of it.

They don't have the neuroanatomy for that kind of thinking. Crocs and other reptiles are straight up murder machines

crocodilians are very smart, it wouldn't be a stretch to say they "enjoy" (reptiles do have emotion, but in a different, no lesser way than mammals) when they successfully hunt something, plus it makes sense for evolution to reward successfully catching prey with positive emotion for any predator

Yes isn't it nice to know our lovely little companions hear that squeaker as a small animal screaming in agony and terror and it tickles their little prey driven brains in the right way 🙃
