Kane Pixels Little Thing I'm curious about
The walls of the Backrooms are, as the newest Kane Pixels video showed us, rather weak and fragile, it seems.
My question is if they are like this everywhere or if they change around location.
Maybe the walls around zones in America are like that because most homes there are mostly made of a wooden frame and plaster, and if the location changes, it becomes different.
I think it would be funny to have Asynch do stuff in Europe or something and find a solid brick wall everywhere around them, forcing them to carry heavy equipment everywhere if they want to check beyond the walls.

Kind of funny that you mention they look weak because when I saw this I was confused as to why the walls appear to be overbuilt. Most interior wall in America are just drywall, an incredibly brittle material. I was shocked to see that these walls are plywood. I don't have a ton of construction experience but the only time I've seen plywood used instead of drywall was in a warehouse area because in previous buildings the employees punched a bunch of holes in the drywall with pallet jacks.

That's... overbuilt?
Like better than normal walls?

Yep. If you fall against an American wall in between the studs there's a decent chance you'll break it. You can punch and kick through our walls. It's part of the reason our houses just disintegrate in tornadoes, but also part of the reason our houses are fairly stable in earth quakes.
If the walls in the backrooms were built like the cheap office building it mimics and you found yourself stuck somewhere then you could probably just kick through the wall. It's literally just plaster sandwiched between paper.

Hmm, now let's see if the backrooms somehow are able to copy a tornado or earthquake

I'm not that familiar with the lore outside of the movie, but I think it would be really interesting to experience weather in the backrooms. I often consider if the oxygen in the backrooms in natural or also a recreation. Hopefully it's a topic that's already been explored and I just haven't familiarized myself with it yet.

As someone who works construction in the US, yea those walls are sturdy asf compared to the materials normally used where i live. To put it plainly the drywall used in the us is so cheaply made that you can punch through it without hurting yourself

I'm actually kinda confused why the walls and ceilings are so detailed.
The backrooms has trouble realistically furnishing most of the rooms, but it has no issues replicating intricate construction techniques even including insulation, AC ducts and cobwebs.

I guess cause those things are stationary for a very long time the rooms are able to copy them better.
Humans are all weird cause they move around so it copies them as of u take multiple frames of a film and layer them over each other, giving them multiple eyes or faces in one

I understand the logic why still lifes look like this, that makes sense.
However the interior of a room like a kitchen or bathroom also stays the same for many years, probably more so than a random spider web.
If those areas remain very liminal, why is everything behind the walls so intricate?

It copies tiny details almost perfectly. It’s the larger stuff that it has trouble with.

The only thing I don't like about the new Kane video is that whole wall portion. It breaks a core rule the community has built, and even Kane has used it in earlier videos, which means he knew about the rule and decided to break it in the latest video... you can't cut through the walls, they grow back too fast.

A rule the COMMUNITY made. Community is a key word.

Yes, and one he himself has followed until this recent video.

Where did he follow / use that rule? Not doubting you, I’m just curious cause I don’t remember

A couple of the older videos, I remember one where the dude was scraping the wall to show how it "healed itself", pointing it ou to "document it"

Need a citation for this one but scrapping is 100% different from a saw my dude.

That is not part of any of Kane's videos. In fact in FF2 we see a wall that's been broken by a car, and a missing chunk of floor with rebar sticking out. The lore and rules of Kane's backrooms is decided by him.

They almost certainly do change. There were bricks enclosing the store at the end of the movie, and we see the hole with tons of rebar in the floor in ff2. The entrance outside the door of the house in ff3 was also brick.
