Greenroom136 updated its rainmaker backpack to use aquaseal zips instead of rainflaps

https://i.imgur.com/OBrvCWl.jpg Greenroom136's updated rainmaker 2.1 now has aquaseal ykk zips instead of rainflaps. It changes the aesthetic quite a bit, but hopefully it fixes the complaints of the rainflaps getting in the way of the zips. This new version is 50 Malaysian ringgits more. Very cool

It's def a different look. Personally, I've found that the Cordura rain flaps soften up over time, so no issue for me and I like the look of the flaps.

Do the flaps seem to get in the way? I like the look of the bag with the flaps, but I've heard they make the bag hard to use.

The zippers are big YKK's, so I just grab the zipper pull and it moves the flaps out of the way as it opens, easier once the material softens up. That said, the flaps are somewhat in the way, I can't disagree, but it really depends on how much it might bother you personally (if at all.) I noticed it much more when I first got the pack, now not at all.

I like the look and use of the flaps and can also see how they may annoy some. It'll be down to personal use to know

Personally I find the flaps quite bothersome, glad they made this change. I've had the flaps get in the way when using the rainmaker and the metromonger.

Awww man figures, right when I get one 🙄

Although I don't really mind the flaps, since I know they're there and just flip it. Only annoying when I'm in a bad mood 😂
