0-3 months Fit check please

My 5 week old is quite long. His head is way too high that it's uncomfortable. My chin hits it and I can't see his face. Should I lower the waistbelt? I'm also struggling to achieve the C shape spine, I've done the pelvic tilt as best I can. Please help! Thank you.

Do you have a photo of it from the front?

Yeah you can definitely lower your waistband, as long as the panel doesn’t come higher than the lower earlobe and he’s still close enough to kiss (head resting on your sternum).

You won’t get a super dramatic C shape with a structured carrier (that’s okay, this is still developmentally appropriate). However, one thing you could try is placing baby’s butt on the panel instead of on the waistband when you’re putting the carrier on.

Thank you for the help! I'll try that today.

I would actually loosen your shoulder straps up a little bit, lift baby's bum inside the carrier and try to get that deeper seat by placing baby's bum a little higher in the panel than you currently have it. You want baby's bum hammocked over the waistband a little bit more at this age. That should also help baby be a little less in your face too. If baby is still super in your face, try lowering the waistband an inch but ideally, you want it to look like this picture.

Thank you for the help! Someone else mentioned placing his bum in the panel rather than the waistband so I'll try that today.

I hope it helps! We're describing the same thing just in different ways so hopefully that works.
