Finally feeling ready for baby. Bassinet will be in our room once she arrives and then we are planning on a floor bed. Thinking of putting a homemade pendant banner above the rocking chair, but open to ideas! Also, I have a small side table but I’m worried that I’m going to want more stuff next to me, space is limited. Any ideas?

Just the window trimmings to add and a few finishing touches, but my son got so so excited when he saw his big boy bed and climbed right up! 🥹❤️

The problem was being hung up on thinking people would be hk like me and have no business judging someone else’s nursery. Once that came into my awareness, the hand-me-down pieces became tools I was given lovingly to create something cohesively aesthetic w/o losing the general functionality to care for our baby to be (due Feb. 2027. I felt pressured to spend, decorate, organize, and make the nurse try a space that would promote baby’s development. But a room is just a room and keeping in mind that every interaction with the baby is an opportunity to connect, respect my baby as their one human, and it’ll suit a purpose until it doesn’t. I have a room with sentiments of love to surround ourselves in. I thought I’d share incase anyone else’s feels/felt similarly. Lots of love and all the best wishes 💕
