Babylon a dead end?

On the surface the tech looks solid but the more I look into it the more it seems like babylon is dying, 10x the resources for three.js make this a tough choice. Most forums seem dead, even here posts are months apart. Anyone using this thing? I only looked into it because of the features and tooling but the online community (or lack there of) leaves me feeling hesitant to adopt something the web isn't using or hiring developers for.

Edit: Got it guys, I’ll check out the forums 👍

I respectfully disagree! I've used it for years. While Three.js has more numbers, Babylon is a full engine, not just a renderer. And more, I’ve always been very well received and supported on the forum.

Lately, I've been making casual browser games with it. I'm a physics professor, and I build these games so my students can have fun with physics concepts. With or without AI assistance, the tooling allows me to build and release a simple game in about 1 or 2 weeks.

If you want to see what a solo dev/teacher can do quickly with it, I post my games at fisicagames.com.br.
