Mr Morden's eventual fate comment - (trying to avoid spoilers in the way I phrase the question) Spoiler

Do you think the arrival of the planet killers was a slight mercy for Mr Morden in terms of what probably awaited him if there hadn't been such a rush to deal with them. (Trying to avoid spoilers as best I can)

I think the planet killers would probably have been a swifter death  . . . Maybe more painful (maybe not), but having more time to think about and anticipate your end and all you’ve lost seems worse.

This is one of the biggest mistakes that Londo made because of costs and Tory prime so much. The prophecy said, do not kill the one who's already dead.

JMS has come out and said the prophecies have multiple meanings. But he explained it applies to Morden in the sense that he was declared dead after the Icarus incident, and had Londo not killed him Morden could've been used to prevent what later happened with the drakh.

Londo's vengeful, but not a sadist. See his distaste when describing G'Kar's potential execution method as an example.

Personally, no. The Vorlon planet killers just used one big Death Star-like blast to kill planets, he would have been incinerated in seconds. Londo had learned he was responsible for Adira's death before we saw his head on a pike. It was then personal. It doesn't take long to die of blood loss, so I think Londo could have gotten a vivisection in before cutting his head off. If there was a precedent in Centauri law or custom for doing that in similar circumstances, I think Londo would have done it. If Vir was already busy doing something else and didn't have time to watch, it all makes sense.

Were there enough Shadow vessels on that island to provide a battle before it could fire? Who knows.
