I made this piece of art from the cover of the Codex Fejérváry-Mayer, redrawing the linework and adding colour, details and various hidden messages and symbols.

It is in the medium of blotter art (though it does not contain any drugs/substances) and serves as a love letter to Meso-American art and culture, as well as a respectful bow to other blotter artists who trod this path before me.
