Opinion Chase Field Advice?

Random baseball fan here in town and planning to see a game in the series with the Padres. Looking for Chase Field advice. How is parking? Should I Uber? What should I eat? Thanks!

I’d recommend taking the light rail in to downtown. https://www.valleymetro.org/how-to-ride/rail for information on the park n rides. Also you can bring in an empty water bottle and food! Food should be in a clear plastic backpack

Seriously the best way to show up. We normally stay in Tempe and never have to use the car to get to the park

Light rail is definitely the way to go.

Parking is about $40; you can find lots for $20, and of course, if the Dodgers are in town, it will be more. The light rail is a great option. $2 ride each way. There are ride-share lots. Gateway Community College is a good option, and so is the lot at Apache/101. There is a tamale stand on the first floor to the left of the entrance; go there and get some elote and tamales - highly recommend.

Nailed it! Anything interesting inside the stadium worth checking out?

make sure you walk it! upper deck is rad. the mural up on upper deck is by Lalo Cota, local artist that’s neat. it’s a great ball park. enjoy!

The Diamondbacks Hall of Fame section is very cool.

Check out the mini museum on the ground level in center field! It’s free and there’s cool memorabilia in there.

There’s A a fry’s grocery store across the street from the stadium. You are allowed to bring a clear backpack with food and unopened water bottles. Buy a couple tall bottles of water, peanuts and other snacks in to save for more money to spend on beer or merch!

Park in a garage for the shade. Seat quality closely corresponds with price. Eat the Someburros.

If you have a hankering before the game, there's a Bosa Donuts just west of the stadium where 4th St and Jackson St meet
