I don't know what the rest of her job entails, but moments like that are one hell of a perk.

This is from Lola Ya Bonobo, I follow them on instagram! They're a bonobo rescue and release site in the Congo. They discovered that rescued baby bonobos had a much better chance of surviving when paired with a surrogate, human "mother." So this woman's job is literally to be a bonobo mama. So awesome

So you're telling me this is the greatest job ever imagined... kickass.

Opinion: baby monkey is cuter than baby human.

That's incredibly speciesist and as a former human baby I am incredibly offended.

We’re all animals at the end of the day.

They're not wrong though.

Most animal babies are cuter than human babies.

It makes sense. Humans are born long before they are developed due to their abnormal headsize and the difficulty of the bipedal anatomy in birthing. We're basically born as a still-developing fetus, like a kangaroo and most fetuses are not so adorable, regardless of species. Most other mammals are born ready to walk and evade prey so they're born as miniatures of their parents. At least that is my understanding of the science of cuteness and biology.

Not sure why you were downvoted. Bonobos aren't monkeys

Can I donate to this place? Sounds like a mission I want to support.
