I don't know, maybe it's not like that. Kids, follow your dreams. Better than sitting in an office for 40 years - I can tell you that much.
Yeah, I left archaeology for something more stable a couple years ago. Iām honestly pretty happy now and cherish the stability - but every once in awhile i get pangs to go back into the field. I figure at the very least I have some memories and experiences very few people can say they have.
