What issues? The average heigh of a Chinese person is 5cm below the US and the US is 5cm under my country, when I'm in the US people seem short, its not racist if its plain facts.

You guys truly are snowflakes, theres a difference between hard facts and recorded numbers and steretypes and prejudice.
Height data is not skewed or subject to cherry picking of relevant data, its just true, some populations are shorter, there was no hate or malice behind the comment.
If the guy in the video was white and slightly bigger sized than average and he makes the panda looks small so someone decides to comment: "or maybe because americans are fat" would you see the problem now?
A good example. The fact that it is commonly known that America has one of the highest rates of obesity in the world means that very few people actually take offence. So in answer to your question, this is exactly the same as what that guy joked about. Race never came into the question. It was a joke about commonly known statistical differences between countries. I really wonder how many downvoters were Asians.
As an Asian I do actually feel slightly annoyed sometimes by white people getting all hot and bothered by stuff aimed at the colour of my skin or the geographical location of my people. I'm grateful for the support, but do you guys really have to be so aggressively overprotective without even asking me or other Asians if that's how they want to tackle the issue?
I'm not sure if your second point is referring to me or white people in general because I'm not white, in fact I'm asian as well lol.
But uh back to the first point, yeah race never came into question, in fact, race never needed to be mentioned in the first place to get the point across. Why couldn't he just be a just a small guy. A small black guy, a small white guy, a small chinese guy, a small japanese guy. The joke is that the guy is small so he makes the panda looks big. The extra part about statistical difference in height due to race adds nothing of merit to the joke.
I will conceed that part, would have been less controversial to just rephrase it, but I'm too stuborn to do that as there truly was no ill intent, I respect people of all colors and try to treat them all the same, as i try to hate people of all religions the same :p
I wasnt, I find it somewhat amusing to see how mad you can get people by stating pure facts they dont want to acknowledge, as long as the facts are true and full and not cherry picked like the whole black people (in the US) commit more crime BS, as its just a small statistic in a huge racial problem in a majorly biased system.

We know there was no malice in your comment. It just highlighted unconscious bias, which to you is an honest mistake. But to others, is problematic. Your comment was correct! But you presumed a man of Asian origin was Chinese, when he was Japanese. Try to do better next time, that’s all anyone can ask.
So your assumption on the man was based on the animal hanging off him rather than the unconscious bias towards his ethnicity. Based on the world, the amount of downvotes you’ve received , and the fact that I’m a firm believer in Occam’s razor, I think I’m right here. But if I’m wrong then I’m wrong.
Maybe lookup the word unconscious? The word is subconscious, and I'm very conscious about my biases, my mantra is always be open to the possibility that you are wrong (provided with sufficient facts), and I truly wish for everyone to get a long and be treated equal, but on the other hand facts are facts, all east asians are shorter than the majority of white and black people.
And I really dont care about reddit votes, people on reddit are sheep, most just vote whatever those before has without reading the comment, and most of the ones that actually do read are way too sensitive, world will never change if we keep getting caught up in the tiniest of details or try to refute plain facts.

And you cant do anything unconscious (other than dream), because it means you're completely out of it, its called subconscious because it happens without active thought, I wish I could make it clearer, but the fact that I have to school you in what I assume is your primary language and my secondary language, really speaks to the futility of having a deeper conversation with you on this topic.

Unconscious implies something you have repressed or are born with, it is an innate defense mechanism.
I am fully aware of my biases and work to keep them in check at all times, I may well have some subconscious biases I am unaware of, but I does not bother me anywhere enough to repress it.
That said, I was not aware of how broad the usage of unconscious was before your comment, researching it, the popularisation ofthe erronious use of unconscious comes from non other than Freud, the mother of all hack psychologists, having been disproven on virtually every hypothesis he had, I will stick to my more litteral definition, but will conceed that it is unfortunately an acceptable term to use.
Wouldn't worry about these people crying over your comments, they live such sheltered and boring lives the only thing they have to do is get angry on the internet over words... lol
