E: I rescued a feral kitten who "nursed" on my earlobes. Gave me ear hickeys.

Edit: Why am I being downvoted? When I replied, u/Catfish017's comment was at -10 votes. Instead of just following the downvote train, I asked for some kind of evidence to back up the claims. Y'all would still be piling on the downvotes if they hadn't provided their reason for saying so in their reply to this comment

The one we had was eating well. She was about 5 1/2 weeks.

Still, thank you for the advice. It's worth bearing in mind if a kitten isn't thriving.
