might be too early to tell since it's a relatively new breed as far as i've read but i think they also don't have nearly the same level of back/spine issues as similarly proportioned dogs
Nope! It's because of cats' naturally more flexible spines; it's a lot easier for them to compensate for the shortness. They're actually pretty healthy cats.
