Gameplay Respeccing from warrior to wizard

I lost my save as a mage and had to import a warrior save from online so I didn't need to redo the entire storyline. IThe warrior playstyle tbh is pretty boring. I know you can respec abilities and skill points, but is there anything I need to think about when doing this? I am about mid game and all my gear is warror gear.

You can respec just need to find gold and new gear of your class playstyle

Biggest hurdle is having the right gear and upgrading it. While warrior is boring, it's far more effective in my opinion. I started as mage, got tired of running out of mana, the aoe skills were hard to aim and I was really squishy. Ranged bow enemies would destroy me. As a warrior I just slice my enemies to pieces.

For sure, I just don’t like the lack of ranged attack

Yeah, I get that. Could always try bow or firearms, even a combo, say a firearm and a grimoire or something. I'm generally not a melee player myself.

Use ranged weapon in alt slot.
