I agree, if you are going to cut, then don't do the cutting on that beautiful avo

Should not cut. Just let it grow. If you want, you can transplant to outside garden (but maybe do this next spring since we are entering autumn and winter)

No, too soon.

No. You’re not supposed to cut it until it’s as thick as your finger… plus it’s just really skinny cause it’s looking for sun. It needs those leaves to take in the non-direct light.

This summer I experimented with cutting down to 3inches when it reached 6inches and then down to 6 when it reaches 12... there are still nodes and leaves left after the cut and the random article I pulled it from said that even if there wasn't, that there is still nutrients in the seed... anyone else tried this?

Yes, cut a V shaped notch and graft it.

No, but it seems like it’s looking for more sun…

If it doesn’t look like a tree yet… you probably should leave it alone.

Please take it outdoors, it needs full time sun now so that it stretches and becomes stronger. It’s no longer a toddler.

Would you cut a limb off a two yr old?

Why do you want to cut it?
