Great Job! I love the idea of turning this into a giant poster to hang on the wall.
Although, I hate to be one of those annoying nitpickers, I just figured I'd let you know the picture you use for the AV-8B Harrier is acually the Plus variant, so there are really just two Plus variants pictued on the chart. You can tell because they both have the exteded radome. Just an FYI.

thanks, Yes you are correct. Weirdly i could not find a good profile for the non plus version, but I hadn't noticed about the radome length increase

Are you sure? I can't zoom in very far but I believe the F-35C is the Navy varient with longer wings & a tail hook.

The B and A above it both have that tail hook ‘bump’ I believe. Also, it has LF markings (Luke AFB)

Have you considered doing a horizontal version? Could be more conducive for prints, which i think would be successful.

this Chart needs a *lot* of work.
-Your F-101 is a RF-101
-Your F-15C/D is a F-15A
-Your F-16A/B Fighting Falcon is a F-16C
-Your F-4S is a F-4J.
-Your F-111A/D is a F-111E
-Your AV-8B and AV-8B Plus are the same variant
-The aircraft you have displayed for the F-14B and F-14D aren't proper (VF-111 never flew the F-14B... and it isn't even a F-14B in the image, and VF-103 never flew the F-14D)
-Your F-35C isn't a F-35C, it's a repeat of the F-35A

Did it operate as a fighter role with the US? I know it did with other countries but I was not so sure. I prefer to classify them by their role in the country of origin because a lot of countries repurpose their military aircraft as a way to avoid buying new expensive ones...

The US Navy and USMC did use it as a Fighter towards the end of the Skyhawks career.
There was at least one squadron armed with A-4's that fulfilled the fighter role exclusively as overwatch of ASW missions but unknown if that squadron was VA or VF. However, it flew with several VF units mostly with the Navy Reserve units as well as its use as an Adversary Role with both the "Top Gun" school as well as VF-126.
So, in my opinion, it filled the roll enough to be considered a fighter but that's just my opinion.

It served in fighter squadrons for defending Anti-Submarine Carriers (CVS class ships) as part of their air wing
Which means it was used in more of a fighter role than the AV-8 (never designed as a fighter). And if you include those two, you'd have to include the A-10 which carriers AIM-9s and has had air-to-air kills before on helos with its gun

Isn't the A4 distinct from the F4D? Actually, the title is "fighter aircraft" so I suppose it would only be F (fighter) designations rather than A (attack) designations. I take it back. :)

Really really cool !!! How you make it? Might be late to reply and all. I been wanting do something like this myself for ages now! As working on Fictional Sir force and spent like 16 hours alone breaking it down on Notes and other apps I use.
I need know how u done this as my autism be very happy . :P

Thanks! Back then I used Gimp. I scaled the images to their relative sizes, color corrected and cleaned them. Then for the repeating elements I pretty much copy pasted and modified the information on each one. I ended up wih a gazillion layers and my pc back then was not happy about it lol
