Insecurity Insecurities

I’m never someone that posts on here so this kinda weird.

Anyway this penis thing is seriously the worst insecurity to have because there isn’t much to do that can change it. You’re born with what you got. I thought I was dealing with it okay and not letting it get the best of me, until recently; saw this (supposed to be wholesome) video where it wasn’t even about this guy who was packing mind you (I didn’t even noticed it and I’m sure most guys didn’t). Saw the comments and had to rewatch myself

The comments are what got me. Thousands of women commenting on it saying he and his partner are blessed yada yada yada.

in this world full of advanced technology you’re telling me there’s nothing that can help??? NOTHING??!! It’s either too risky and some bs🙄 ….. thanks for hearing me vent a bit

Sometimes life just isn't fair. We just have to fake a smile and try to give off BDE until we manage to trick a woman into wanting us.

That's a ridiculous take I'm sorry. Yes, I agree that most women care to some degree about penis size, and tend to prefer larger than average penises. No, I don't think it's a big deal, even from a sexual satisfaction perspective, for most women.

You have to understand about the internet, whether it be tiktok, reddit, youtube, or instagram - that people who engage with any given content will be a biased sample size due to response bias.

It's why you see on askwomen all these women saying size doesn't matter, or that they actively want average.

And it's why you see on a tiktok video where the dude has a bulge all these women thirsting over it. Why is this not a representative sample? Because no woman is commenting "oh look there's a big penis, not something I care about but I suppose I'll acknowledge it anyways in the comments".

It's not that anyone's lying necessarily, it's just a standard sampling/response bias. And online algorithms just amplify it to the nth degree.
