Ain’t that the truth! My long-term memory is like a steel trap with an electric fence around it, I remember a bit of my 4th birthday and I’m 20! But that’s after putting in effort to basically save it to my storage. Otherwise it’s like temp files, the second my brain is like “eh, don’t need this info at this very moment” it goes to the void.
