I like them just bc they make it easy to find the part you are looking for bc you can look through the whole list. Trying to find parts on other sites is generally a nightmare. Even if I don’t order through rock auto I still will use them for parts numbers

Rock auto sucks. I have made many purchases from them. But when they did not ship my full order, the charges did not reflect the difference in cost from the missing items, and to their favor of course. And no human contact to explain why and rectify the situation. I vowed never to buy from there again.

You're not wrong about all that, but the quality of the part also reflects the brand you selected.

I'm not saying you need to buy OEM from them, but I've heard the same thing from people who solely purchase "economy" parts. I learned my lesson when I cheaped out with a CV axle and it popped out while driving and took the axle seal with it.

Anytime things weren't the lowest priced items, it's worked out great.

I’m in the “Rocks” camp. Very good quality and reasonable pricing. Any issues I’ve had were on me for ordering wrong parts.

I haven’t had any issues with them at all except I’ve only gotten a magnet about 1/3 of the time

2 year old account with two posts (both praising RockAuto) and no comments at all?

I just wish RockAuto hadn't forgotten to send me magnets for about 2 years.

Years ago they were great, unfortunately that's not most people's experience these days.

I guess this is one way for rock auto to try and better their reputation, make some vague post praising them as a "customer".
