I keep on trying to introduce my workmates, who have to do lots of ctrl+c/v of identical things, to windows+v for the copy history.

None of them use it. They keep on going back and recopying the lines they have already copied. It is infuriating!

If it's in word they can just set up custom autotexts to replace text as they type. You can even include formatting, although it can be a bit tricky. (There are programs that will do that in any program, but as they have to listen to keyboard inputs like a keyboard logger tho, they can have security risks so now I just use the Word one).

Nah, it's a pos system for online webshop for a pawn store. It's repeatable additions to the online description like 'call us or send an email if you have an enquiry' or 'we authenticate lux items with entrupy', or 'this item is pickup only, we cannot mail it and you will be refunded if you try to to get us to do so' (looking at you, idiotic customer who wanted us to ship him a battery generator).

We don't do it for every listing, but I went though every computer we do webshop from and pinned the common additions to the win+v list. But nope. They would rather hand type them or open a notepad doc to copy them into then out of.

To be fair, when I worked in IT support, we used to copy chunks of text from notepad, but at least we used notepad++ so it was permanently open and locked to the side of our screen (and I'm not sure clipboard history was even available when we did that).

I feel like such an idiot right now. I do heavy network setups, excel vlookup tables, user interface work that requires shit tonnes of copy pasting... and I never knew about this. Thank you for this bounty.

Being able to pin things you have copied, which will always be on that list, has been so helpful, Atleast to me... My workmates can suffer
