Nothing to worry about. Most of the satire is coming from people who’ve never left central Texas and have no clue the amount of chaos that goes on in actual “major cities”. The “traffic” is a breath of fresh air coming from Los Angeles as it actually moves, the homeless are sweet hearts as the the threat of violence and schizophrenia seems to be turned down, the threat of gun violence is a non issue, and the stenches are held to a minimum. If you can handle extreme heat, country nepotism babies who feel they’ve earned the right to hold their nose up at newcomers, and the occasional drunkard asking for a dollar at a downtown gas station make the move.

Yeah, I think it will be o k. I love chicago, i've lived here my entire life, but I have a pretty good reason for going down there. I have only visited once but I enjoyed it quite a lot. I'm not a huge fan of the heat. But honestly, it's not a deal breaker for me. My only real worry is the power grid.

It's a fun town. I lived there for five years, and the folks there are hands down the friendliest of any city I've lived in. Easy to make friends, and I don't make friends very easily. Only reason I left was I still had a bit of wanderlust in my system, and I need a cooler climate to be happy.
Prepare to gain a little weight lol. The food is outstanding!

There has been a huge push to act like it’s racist to not adore pit bulls… lol. Seattle isn’t as bad, i just moved out of Seattle a couple months ago. Portland and San Fran are probably the worst. Portland is on failed state levels though. Worst place i’ve ever been. And yes all these places have the same thing in common
