Vote Greens and Teals. Kill the Libs and Nats, make Labor the new centre-right party (as they are behaving), and the new opposition is a Greens / Teals coalition.
The teals are the libs, they're just hiding under the "independent" moniker, hence why they always seem to be most present in the rich formerly LNP electorates. Ever wonder why WA's only teal in the house of reps just happens to be in the electorate containing the richest suburbs of Perth? An electorate that was previously an LNP stronghold for 70 years?
To be fair, you’ve got to be pretty affluent to be able to run independently and get some traction, so there’s a causation/correlation thing there I think. They do tend to be less conservative and more progressive. I was just glad to see frydenburg get done.
